Join Us for Safety Camp
This July, we will collaborate on a summer safety camp with CrossFit AZO and some of our local First Responder agencies. This camp will feature a kid-safe workout followed by a safety practice. Kids will learn about car safety, water safety, bike safety, and more!
This camp is for ages 4-12 and is free. We will be accepting donations only.
July 15-19 from 9am to 11am

We WON!
Simple Safety Rescue Force was nominated for and won a Governor's Traffic Safety Advisory Council Award. We were recognized for our efforts with the #buckledownonthebuckleup campaign. We were thrilled to have been nominated and even more excited to have won! SSRF will continue to dedicate time and efforts in keeping people safe. The more education we can bring to people the better. Kalamazoo County (and wider) we are happy to serve you and help keep you safe!
Care Packs For Officer Use
For the winter season Simple Safety Rescue Force created care packs. SSRF gathered socks, hats, gloves, and water bottles in them. The supplies were gathered in a draw string bag and then given to some of our local officers and deputies. Local PD then put them in their cars to distribute to the unhouse population in our community. These care packs will be utilized by officers for those who just need a little help. SSRF is happy to help equip our local PD with resources they can share when they come across these situations.
Carter Kits Sensory Bags
SSRF purchased Carter Kits Sensory Bags for one of our local first responder departments. Carter Kits Sensory Bags were designed by first responders for first responders (and more) to help individuals with sensory needs to stay calm in stressful situations. We will provide more of our departments with these kits as well as training on how to effectively use them. These kits will add an additional level of value and safety to our patient care. Carter Kits were also designed right here in Michigan! We are happy to support Carter Kits as well as our local police, fire, and EMS. Check back in for pictures and updates!

First Ever Safety Fair
Our first safety fair was a success!
We were able to help teach families about safety measures they can take in their every day lives. A big thank you to Skinny Kenny's BBQ and Portage Public Safety!
Look for more events soon. We have big things coming to the Kalamazoo area!
SUCCESSFUL Virtual Fundraiser
June 30, 2021 5:00 pm- 9:00pm EST
We hosted a LIVE virtual fundraiser on Tik Tok and Facebook. For every $100 raised a First Responder got dunked! We dunked our police officers, firefighters, EMS, and even dispatchers. We successfully raised over $4,000 for our first community event. We cannot thank everyone enough for all of the support. Check out the pictures below in case you missed any of the fun.
